Ways to give

Here are some easy ways to support our mission of bringing Christian Education into more homes and families around Des Moines.

Online – The fastest way to make a gift is to give online via your credit card or bank account. To provide continuous support to MCS select “make this a monthly gift” when giving online.

Check – Mail a check to Midwest Christian School, 116 SE Lorenz Dr, Ankeny, IA 50021.

Donor Advised Fund – Recommend gifts from your donor advised fund to support MCS.  

Stock and Securities – MCS accepts appreciated securities, which can offer a larger tax benefit than a cash gift.

Real Estate – A gift of real estate can be invaluable in supporting students and programs.

Planned Gifts – MCS supporters may choose to leave a donation in their wills and trusts as an important way to have long-term impact on the future of the school. If you have made a planned gift to MCS or if we can be a resource, please contact us. 

Matching Gifts – Many businesses have a matching gift program that can increase the size of your donation to MCS.

The General Fund

supports the everyday needs of Midwest Christian School. From classroom materials to technology, supplies, and operations, this fund allows us to provide a safe, Christ-centered, academically excellent environment for every student. These gifts make the mission of MCS possible.

Warrior Fund

The Warrior Fund fuels strategic enhancements beyond the essentials—enriching student life, strengthening academics, expanding extracurricular opportunities, and creating memorable school experiences. Your generosity helps every MCS student grow in faith, character, and purpose.

Future Fund

The Future Fund supports the long-term vision of Midwest Christian School. This includes facility development, classroom expansion, campus improvements, and future-grade growth. Giving to this fund helps us build a strong foundation for generations of students to come.

Scholarship Fund

The Scholarship Fund makes Christian education accessible for more families. Your contribution provides financial assistance for students who need help with tuition, ensuring every child has the opportunity to discover their God-given purpose in a Christ-centered environment.

Christmas Bonus for Staff

This fund is dedicated to blessing and honoring our teachers and staff during the Christmas season. Every dollar goes directly to year-end bonuses as a tangible way to thank them for the incredible work they do investing in the hearts and minds of MCS students.
